Course Description

Course Objectives This course aims to impart knowledge and mastery of functions and usage of JRC ECDIS on board vessels. Upon completion of the course, the trainee is expected to demonstrate proficiency of the functions, operation, and correct and safe usage of the JRC ECDIS equipment and models. They will also grasp the proper and effective use of information on JRC Type-Specific ECDIS limitations, legal concepts, and their responsibilities as operators of electronic charts.
